What a mess. Flip has left me stuck this semester, constantly causing problems for me as the instructor (although no students have complained). Most videos won't play in the app. I either get a black screen, a message that the video is still processing (forever), or it stops playing in the middle and refuses to start again. I also get "unexpected server error" from links in the email notifications. It's bewildering to me, since this app and this service has one job: record & playback videos!"

I just had to download this app for a class I'm taking and it's already the worst thing I have ever experienced. You can take multiple clips but you can't rearrange them after the fact. Also, the app keeps freezing when I try to respond to a video with my own video and when I go back in, it ends up posting my response to the main thread instead of in the comments. Almost regretting my decision to take this class because of the app"

This capability is required for a class that I am taking this summer. I have had nothing but trouble trying to use it on Android phone and Windows computer. Initially couldn't get audio to work on Firefox browser on Windows. Trying to take videos with Android app seemed problematic. When other people in the class post videos I can see evidence that it exists, but I cannot see the video. Seems like landscape mode videos might be better than portrait. This is a very poor quality app!"
